What Is DTF Printing?
DTF stands for Direct to Film. This printing method allows us to create full-color designs that can be applied to a wide range of apparel and product types.
One of the biggest benefits of DTF is flexibility. We offer unlimited colors in your design without additional color-based setup charges, which makes it a great option for detailed logos, multi-color artwork, and vibrant custom prints.
Artwork Requirements for DTF Printing
To print your design at the best possible quality, we require one of the following file types:
- High-resolution PNG with transparent background at a minimum of 300 DPI
- High-resolution SVG
- Native design file such as .AI or Canva link
Clean, high-quality artwork is essential for a professional printed result. Lower-quality files may not print clearly and may require additional design work before production.
Important Information About AI-Generated Artwork
AI-generated artwork can be a helpful starting point for design ideas, but it is often not production-ready for printing.
Many AI-generated files contain hidden layers, invisible elements, distortion, edge issues, or other inconsistencies that may not appear on screen but do show up once the design is printed.
In some cases, AI-generated artwork requires multiple rounds of testing, cleanup, and recreation before it can be approved for production.
AI Artwork Policy
If your submitted image was created with AI and does not meet the quality standard required for printing, we will need to recreate or significantly clean up the artwork before production.
When this happens, a design fee will apply.
This policy protects print quality, ensures a better final product, and helps us deliver work that meets SevenThirty Pro standards.
Our Recommendation
If your design was created with AI, we strongly recommend having it properly rebuilt before printing. This helps avoid unexpected issues during production and ensures the final design is clean, consistent, and ready for apparel application.
